Practicing the cello; helpful tips

When practicing the cello it is important to set goals for each session.
Depending on your goal, set aside time for exercises that will help you to achieve this goal; sometimes even a short amount of time spent on exercises each day can help to get quick results.

Let's take an example;
Improving my bow technique to get a beautiful even tone
    2 minutes, slow, long bows from frog to tip
    3 minutes, work on slow, sustained musical passage
